What We Do
FlashNews is a media product of Wireless Flash News Incorporated, an independent news agency that provides exclusive feature and entertainment news to radio and TV stations, internet sites and print media across the United States and around the world.
Wireless Flash News was founded in 1980 in San Diego, California, to meet the radio industry's growing demand for original pop culture material and exclusive entertainment news. From 1980-1993, it operated as a division of the Copley newspaper chain.
In 1993, FlashNews separated from its Copley News Service roots and became an independent news agency expanding its client base into television, print and internet media. In 2000, the company incorporated and began operating as Wireless Flash News Inc.
FlashNews serves hundreds of radio and TV affiliates in every major market across the United States and overseas. Our high-profile client roster includes almost every major TV talk show in America including "The Tonight Show," "The Late Show with David Letterman," "The Doctors" and "Good Morning America." Major print media outlets include New York Daily News, Las Vegas Review-Journal, National Enquirer and National Examiner. We also serve major media outlets around the globe from the BBC in London to "The Nation" newspaper in Bangkok.
