ST. PAUL, Minn. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – It may sound fishy, but one woman just won $5,000 by building a sculpture entirely out of tape.

For the past several months, Scotch Packaging Tape has been running their “National Scotch Brand Off The Roll Contest,” urging folks to build creative tape sculptures using nothing but Scotch Packaging Tape.

They just announced the $5,000 grand prize winner, who clearly made the biggest splash.

Elizabeth K. Lee from Spring Valley, Wisconsin, constructed a tape sculpture showing a larger-than-life goldfish swimming in a clear bag, like the kind you win at a carnival, only much bigger.

Lee’s piece, called “Can I Keep Him?,” really stuck with judges, beating out more than 135 other entries for the win.

All pieces were judged by a panel of experts, including a professional tape artist, on their creativity, execution, presentation, and online public votes.

Runners up included a giant tape sculpture of someone fishing, a tape trapeze artist, and a bird.
