According to a study by the prebiotic supplement, Bimuno, more British vacationers fall ill while visiting Spain than anywhere else.

In fact, 70 percent of Brits get sick there, even if they’re staying at a fancy Spanish resort.

On average, queasy tourists spend three days of their two-week summer vacation nursing some sort of illness.

They get to know the porcelain God quite well, since the No. 1 ailment while away from home is traveler’s diarrhea.

This makes perfect sense when three-quarters admit that they use their time off as an excuse to overindulge in local cuisine.

Other maladies travelers typically suffer from include sun burns, food poisoning, heat stroke, mosquito bites, the flu, constipation, ear infections, and alcohol poisoning.

After Spain, other top countries where foreigners wind up feeling under the weather include Greece, Egypt, France, Turkey, and the United States.
