Home Is Where The Jacket Is
Jacket converts to sleeping bag
Wednesday, March 10, 2010 17:15 GMT
LYNNWOOD, Wash. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) Its easy to spend quality time at home when your home is on your back. The JakPak is jacket that can covert into a sleeping bag and tent, protecting anyone from the outdoor elements without ever having to be removed.
Spokesperson Jeremy White says the outerwear was first created to give homeless people dry, comfortable shelter no matter where they are and how bad the weather gets.
However, the jacket has given backpackers hiking through the mountains and men in the dog house a home away from home as well.
White explains, If a wife throws her husband out of the house for a night, he can just use the JakPak.
Since the jackets are windproof and waterproof, hubbies can stay cozy even in the rain should they choose to sleep off a fight in the backyard.
