Cemetery Home To Jesus Tree

QUINCY, Ill. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – If a tree shaped like Jesus falls in one Illinois cemetery, there will be plenty people around to hear it.A tree that looks just like Jesus holding a lamb has become a major tourist attraction at the Calvary Cemetery in Quincy, Illinois, for believers and non-believers who come to gaze.
Secretary Ruby Cookson says the image of Christ wasn’t put there on purpose, and in her opinion it’s “there for a reason.”
Judging by the number or people who find God after visiting the tree, she thinks that reason may be to get people to join Jesus’ army.
Cookson explains, “It’s helped a lot of people. It made a lot of kids that didn’t believe in anything believe in something. People that have seen it have kind of changed their ways.”
With every person who converts to Christianity, Cookson thinks the tree has “done its duty” for the Lord.
