Talking First Aid Kit Sounds Like Mom

OCEAN, N.J. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – There’s nothing like the sound of Mom’s reassuring voice to help stop the bleeding.

IntelligentFirstAid has released the Talking First Aid Kit, a combo of supplies and audio instructions to manage specific injuries.

It comes with “talking packs” that are inserted and turned on to help guide frazzled folks through a bevy of emergencies, from bleeding and head injuries, to treating burns and giving CPR.

The best part is, the voice that’s talking from the kit is incredibly soothing, like a concerned and informative mother.

Spokesperson Dave Hammond says they tested several voices to nail the perfect tone and quality.

They ultimately chose a soft lady’s voice that doesn’t sound rushed or alarmed, which helps calm those who are giving the aid.

The instructions can all be paused and repeated, since in panic mode, people tend to forget things.

Hammond says the kit helps eliminate unnecessary visits to the E.R. In more serious cases, it tides people over until EMTs arrive.
