Museum Lures With Free Hot Dogs

SAN FRANCISCO (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – The promise of a free hot dog could lure anyone into a museum.

The Frankenart Mart in San Francisco displays art, hosts wacky events, and shells out free hot dogs during their monthly Hot Dog Days, where the wieners flow like wine from the hand of a dancing hot dog.

Founder Leslie Hanslee originally wanted to use the space to solely sell sausages, but decided to add art work to the mix that could be made and sold as quickly as mustard squirts onto a hot dog.

Now, people who line up to eat a hot dog inevitably take a gander at the artwork on display – sometimes buying pieces – which suits Hanslee’s ultimate goal for the Frankenart Mart.

The next Hot Dog Day happens this Sunday (Dec. 6) and she expects another battle between beef and veggie wieners for supremacy.

So far, they hot dog variations are neck and neck.
