Disgusting Halloween Treats

SAN DIEGO (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Halloween (Oct. 31) is the perfect time to trick your friends with disgusting treats.

For example, “Maggot Sliders” are tiny burgers rolled with clumps of rice to give the appearance that they’re covered in larva.

“Blackberry Bat Wings” are blackberries pureed with sugar, baked and shaped to look like actual bat wings.

“Cockroach Puree” is a party dip made of walnuts, garlic, lemon juice, parsley, and olive oil. The walnuts give it a roach-like crunch.

“Tasty Turds” are so lifelike, they’ll turn stomachs. Basically, it’s Rice Krispie treats or popcorn balls, hot and un-shaped, smothered in chocolate. Yellow M&Ms or candy corns are inserted inside for that undigested corn poo appearance.

Finally, “Used Q-Tips” consist of mini marshmallows stuck to the ends of a thin straw. Each end is dipped with warm caramel for “earwax.”

Classics like JELL-O brains or cupcakes decorated like bloodshot eyeballs also do the trick.
