Science Center Provides Fabulous First Times

SAN FRANCISCO (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – You never forget your first time – especially if it turned you on to science.

Next month, the Exploratorium Science Center in San Francisco will celebrate its 40th year teaching science to nerds young and old alike.

Spokesperson Melissa Alexander has heard countless stories from visitors who confess that their “first positive experience with science” was within the walls of the interactive museum.

She adds, “People just fall in love with the Exploratorium and with science, and come back for years and years after their first time.”

As a result of their amazing first time getting down with science, many go on to pursue careers in various scientific fields.

Alexander herself first visited the science center when she was nine years old and found it hard to stay away.

She now spends eight hours of her day at the Exploratorium.
