Lend A Hand, Go To Disneyland

ANAHEIM, Calif. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – If you volunteer, the Happiest Place On Earth will handsomely reward you.

Disney has just launched a program that celebrates volunteering across America dubbed “Give A Day, Get A Disney Day.”

Every person who gives a day of volunteer service in 2010 will receive a free one-day admission ticket to a Walt Disney World Resort or Disneyland Resort theme park.

Here’s how it works: Folks can visit DisneyParks.com to search for volunteer opportunities in their areas. HandsOn Network – the nation’s largest volunteer network – will coordinate projects throughout the new year.

Every person – age six on up – that lends a hand to an eligible volunteer project will get a free “Disney Day” for their good deed.

Disney Parks wants to mobilize one million volunteers through their program, which officially begins January 1.

For now, folks can learn more about it online. Volunteers will spread Disney’s word to major U.S. cities this fall and winter.
