San Diego Loves A Wild Party

SAN DIEGO (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – At one festival, the wilder the party the better.

San Diego’s Street Scene Music Festival will celebrate its 25th anniversary this year on the streets of downtown August 28-29.

Festival founder Rob Hagey has seen a lot of craziness over the years, but it’s nothing that scares him.

He’s seen wild women flashing and an overweight Mexican Elvis impersonator being carried to the stage on a gilded throne, and says, “It’s an absolute party atmosphere. ‘Bring it on,’ is my attitude.”

One Street Scene memory he does wish would piss off is the infamous moment when Black Eyed Peas’ singer Fergie appeared to have peed herself on stage.

He says, “That was overblown and sensationalized. I love the band. I don’t understand why it has to be brought up anymore.”

Hagey is welcoming Fergie and the Peas as headliners this year and assures there won’t be any awkwardness as a result of the pissy pants moment.
