At Don’s Guns and Galleries, Inc. in Indianapolis, Indiana, folks can walk through the doors and for $10 rent a handgun or machine gun to shoot in their huge indoor range.
Owner Don Davis says he doesn’t worry who he rents to – since they ask for identification – and assures that renting a pistol isn’t a big deal.
He explains, “It’s the same thing as renting bowling shoes at a bowling alley. That’s where I got the idea from. Besides, I’ve been doing this for over 30 years now, so it can’t be too dangerous.”
Davis says he’s exercising his 2nd Amendment right with his shop and argues, “If Americans didn’t like guns, there wouldn’t be any.”
His shop has gotten some notoriety for a YouTube video on the Internet, though he says the commercial in question is not his best TV work.
