So says sex therapist Dr. Sandor Gardos, founder of the sex advice website MyPleasure.com.
Dr. Gardos admits the study, which appeared in the June edition of The Journal Of Contraception, is accurate, but the move leads to a sub-par sex session.
He says, For the withdrawal method to work, the man and the woman have to stay very rational, which does not make for great sex. If youre thinking, Oh my God, is he gonna come? the whole time it makes sex anxious and not enjoyable.
Along with that, Dr. Gardos says pulling out is only as effective as condoms if a couple employs it perfectly every time.
He explains, Its entirely reliant on a man knowing when hes going to ejaculate, and a lot of guys come before they realize theyre going to.
