Canadian Man Joins World’s Deadliest Gangs

TORONTO (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Being a Russian mobster, Hell’s Angel, Triad, and Klu Klux Klan member is all in a day’s work.

In his book, Befriend And Betray: Infiltrating The Hells’ Angels, Bandidos, and Other Criminal Brotherhoods (Thomas Dunne Books), Canadian undercover officer Alex Caine describes his missions infiltrating the world’s scariest, most elusive crime organizations.

Caine exchanged gun fire with everyone from the Hell’s Angels, who he says are the hardest group to gain trust from, to the Russian mob, who he calls, “Out and out insane.”

Caine says living a double life took a major toll on him, and adds, “The shoot-‘em-stuff was par for the course. What was hard was that I lived a life of secrets for 30 years and destroyed two marriages.”

But living amongst the most hardened criminals did have at least one perk.

Caine jokes, “I’m not a very tall guy, but when I joined in with the KKK, wearing the hood brought me to six feet.”

Befriend And Betray hits shelves tomorrow (Feb. 17).
