Champagne Cocktails Are Poppin’

SAN DIEGO (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – New Year’s Eve (Dec. 31) champagne can be used for much more than a simple toast at the stroke of midnight.

In fact, there are many different champagne-infused booze beverages that can be enjoyed while ringing in 2009.

For example, a “Blow Blue Bubbles” mixes a shot of blueberry schnapps or blueberry port wine with champagne, while an “Ambrosia Champagne Cocktail” consists of Applejack, Brandy, Triple Sec, a splash of fresh lemon juice, ice, and champagne.

For a tart treat, try a “Champagne Japanese Typhoon,” a concoction of Midori, lime juice, and champagne.

A “Boom Boom” gets the party poppin’ with a mixture of sweet vermouth, dark rum, orange juice, and champagne.

Finally, a “Goodnight Kiss” will finish off your night right by combining one drop of Angura Bitters and a sugar cube with a splash of Campari, topped off with champagne.
