So says rock star-turned-actor Mickey Jones, who jammed on stage with Kenny Rogers and Bob Dylan before appearing on screen in Home Improvement and Sling Blade.
During his rock n roll days, Jones traveled all over the world and says flying during his touring heyday was a good time.
He says, Flying was a lot more fun. I would pull up to the airport 20 minutes before my plane left and get taken to the gate in a golf cart. Flying sucks now.
Despite being a bad boy on the stage, Jones assures that he was no out-of-control rocker when he flew, and even switched travel arrangements whenever other rock bands were too crazy on flights.
Though jetsetting like a rock star was an awesome experience, it took its toll on Jones and he admits that he quit music mainly because he didnt want to go to the airport every day anymore.
