Reality TV Gets Famous Family Talking

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – A good reality TV show can really open up the lines of communication between a father and son.

At least that’s what happened to producer Richard Hall and his dad, infamous Let’s Make A Deal host, Monty Hall.

Richard is the executive producer of Sci-Fi’s new thrilling reality competition, Estate of Panic, and credits the show for giving him and his game show dad something to talk about.

Richard believes reality TV competitions are really just modern-day game shows, since there are challenges and prizes involved.

His dad really gets into the reality genre, which gives the TV duo something to bond over.

Richard believes viewers will enjoy Estate of Panic because it forces people to face their fears.

Contestants search an estate for money, but encounter scary obstacles and booby traps along the way including creepy, crawly bugs, tightening spaces, and flooding rooms.

He calls the series – which premieres tonight (Nov. 12) – a mix between “Saw without the blood, and Fear Factor.
