Reverend Praises Stock Market Crash

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – The crappy economy has one holy rollin’ reverend praising the Lord.

The recent stock market crash that hit the United States economy has actually saved Americans from a life of greed, according to Reverend Billy of the Church of Stop Shopping.

The righteous reverend says American consumers should thank sweet Jesus for the loss of their home’s values, plummeting stock, and the credit card crisis.

He explains, “I know there’s a lot of pain and suffering right now, but people are now learning discipline and realizing what they actually need. They don’t have the luxuries anymore, but they don’t need them.”

With the economy in such a rut, Reverend Billy says more people are starting small businesses from their homes and becoming organic farmers, which helps boost local economies.

He says, “This is the time to be as local as possible and scream out, ‘Local-lujah!”
