Reality Host Earns ‘Xtreme’ Living

CINCINATTI (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – New York’s most extreme and dangerous job taught one reality host some R-E-S-P-E-C-T.

Jason Cameron takes on the Big Apple’s toughest jobs for the upcoming DIY Network reality series Project Xtreme, which premieres September 25.

For the show, Cameron worked with courageous crews, painting the Queensboro Bridge while hanging from a safety wire over traffic, and changing the lightbulbs at the top of the Empire State Building while facing hurricane winds, among other dangerous gigs.

Stepping into New York workers’ brave boots gave him a respect for their duties and the city itself.

Cameron says, “Taking part in this show has made me see the things we take for granted. The stuff these workers do is insane! You walk around New York not realizing the work going on below and above you.”

Though Cameron often questioned whether he could actually complete the tough tasks, fearing a fall or electrocution, he says hanging with work crews was the coolest job of all.
