Male Model Driven After Being A Car Salesman

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – One TV model was driven towards the runway after having a job as a car salesman.

Paul Vandervort is one of the new models on the upcoming season of The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency.

Before breaking into modeling, Vandervort was a car salesman and says the job taught him crucial things about selling himself.

He explains, “As a car salesman, you have to promote yourself to customers in a positive way. As a model, you do the same thing – you sell yourself to the client.”

Vandervort had to be charming on the lot, and says his car slanging gig required him to model with his personality.

Although it would’ve been a handy sales tool, he never used his looks to seal a deal.

He says, “It wasn’t like, ‘If you buy this car, I’ll take my shirt off.’ My looks didn’t help me much in that job!”

He never sprawled out on the hood of a car and posed to sell the wheels, and jokes, “Last time I did that at a job, I got fired!”

Season four of The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency premieres tomorrow (Aug. 26) on Oxygen.
