The 11th Annual Kool-Aid Days festival will have thirsty folks in Hastings, Nebraska, juiced up for a good time today (Aug. 8) through Sunday (Aug. 10), and this years theme is Goofy for Grape.
But according to event coordinator Randy Kottwitz, not everyone will be raising a glass to the purple drink.
Apparently, research done by the drink company shows that grape Kool-Aid is both the most popular and least liked flavor among consumers.
Kottwitz says, Grape Kool-Aid has a unique flavor. You will not find it in any other drink. Some people crave its distinctive taste, while others stay away.
Despite anti-grape guzzlers, grape is usually the best selling drink at the festivals Worlds Largest Kool-Aid Stand every year.
However, the Kool-Aid Man wont be showing his support for grape flavor, keeping his trademark red outfit on at the party.
However, Kottwitz assures the big guy likes the grape flavor very much.
