‘Dance’ Reject Has History Of Fancy Footwork

DALLAS (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – One So You Think You Can Dance reject has a long history of fancy footwork.

Chris Jarosz, a contemporary dancer from Dallas, Texas, was eliminated from SYTYCD last Thursday (Jun. 26).

Strangely enough, Jarosz discovered he was made to dance while kicking around a ball on the soccer field.

As a kid, he played soccer and took tap lessons simultaneously and his soccer coach would always commend him on his fancy footwork.

He says, “I think soccer definitely prepared me for dancing.”

His strong stance and ability to be graceful on his feet was furthered by other sports he played as a kid, like tennis and – believe it or not – bowling.

Jarosz was part of a bowling league in middle school, and although his friends think it’s “nerdy,” he loves the sport and attributes some of his athleticism to it.

SYTYCD airs Wednesdays and Thursdays on FOX.
