Matthew Emerzian is challenging people to make their Mondays count with his book, Every Monday Matters: 52 Ways to Make a Difference (Thomas Nelson), a guidebook of activities people can do on Mondays that can change their lives, community, and the world.
The book gives readers one activity for each Monday throughout the year, including changing their light bulbs, not eating fast food, mentoring a child, and not honking at other drivers, and explains how they can benefit from it.
Emerzian says people have become too used to dreading their Mondays because, Its a day most people do things they dont want to, like work and diets, so they should take them back and make something of them.
He says, Its becoming a movement where ordinary people can do extraordinary things. Instead of watching reruns of Friends people should go out and make friends, and make a difference.
