Short Stories Cure Workplace Woes

BATAVIA, Ill. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Short stories may be the cure for workplace woes. offers its subscribers the chance to download audio versions of 85 short stories, which can then be listened to on iPods or any digital music player.

Creator Anne Stuessy says the short stories are a great way to slow down and break the mindless monotony of a typical day.

She says, “They’re great for any pause in your day, like during an oil change, at the dentist’s office, or during your commute.”

And in a fast-paced, constantly changing world, Stuessy says the stories offer a chance to chill – “completely.”

She says, “You get the chance to hear something in its entirety. I love audio books, but I don’t always have 10 hours to spare! With these stories you can take a walk in the park for 10 minutes and listen to one. It’s a great way to recharge.”
