The Courthouse Grill is dead set on helping make their patrons wishes come true with their in-house lucky charm, a coffin from the early 1900s that when rubbed gives people a touch of good luck.
Owner Billie Porter says the coffins powers are unexplainable.
She says, I dont know if its been used or not, but maybe thats where the luck comes from.
But the results are undeniable.
She explains, You make a wish and rub it, and things just happen. Its weird. Weve had everything from women who couldnt have babies getting pregnant, to winning the lottery. I dont know if it works for everybody, but I hope it does.
People from all over have traveled to the restaurant to rub the coffin, and Porter assures the freaky charms power wont be going anywhere.
