Umbrellas Get A Tough New Look

REYKJAVIK, Iceland (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – An Icelandic umbrella designer is making sure nobody rains on your parade.

The Umbuster is an umbrella with a set of brass knuckles for a handle.

Creator Sruli Recht says he often cuts his own hands making the Umbuster, but he hopes the tough-looking umbrella won’t be covered in anyone else’s blood.

Recht adds, “The Umbuster is classified as a weapon in every country, so you’d need a license to carry it. I don’t expect anyone to hit someone with the umbrella, though it would scare them off.”

If the umbrella isn’t enough protection, Recht also makes a bulletproof pocket square that can save dictators and politicians from an assassination attempt.

He says, “They’re both aggressive concepts, but they’re beautiful and functional. Someone even told me that they think [Barack] Obama will have to wear the pocket square now.”
