Survivor Reject Buries The Hatchet For Charity

GOLDEN, Colo. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – One reality show cast-off isn’t letting island animosity get in the way of her good deeds.

This past Thursday (Apr. 3), Ami Cusack was voted off Survivor: Micronesia – Fans vs. Favorites, and despite some on-screen tension with her fellow contestants Ozzy Lusth and Cirie Fields, the only thing that gets Cusack fired up is helping others.

Cusack – a Survivor: Vanuatu alum – heads up a charity group with former Survivor stars like Yau-Man Chan from Survivor: Fiji and Travis “Bubba” Sampson from Survivor: Guatemala, which provides help to homeless shelters and disadvantaged kids.

Their next event is a Fireman’s Ball in June to raise money for a Kentucky fire department, and Cusack assures that, even with the fiery personalities of her Survivor pals, they’ll keep their competitive sides in check.

She says, “We’re a class act when we get together.”

Survivor: Micronesia airs Thursdays on CBS.
