Singer Has Tough Words For Hollywood Hopefuls

DENVER (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – A rising singing sensation has some sound advice for people drawn to the Hollywood hype.

His hit single “Hollywood’s Not America” is climbing the charts, and singer Ferras Alqaisi – who goes by Ferras – has the lyrics, and the life experience, to put his music where his mouth is.

The song lyrics include, Everybody here’s from somewhere else/ You could make a million dollars but you might lose yourself, and having lived in Hollywood since he was 17, the 25-year-old musician has the stories to stand behind his song.

He says, “I’m no stranger to the Hollywood lifestyle. But I got sick of it. It doesn’t mean anything.”

And Ferras is a straight shooter when it comes to naive girls looking to break into the biz.

He says, “Beware of wolves in sheep’s clothing. You think because you’re pretty and getting invited to after parties, you’ve made it, but you’re just another face for people to use.”

Ferras plays on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno Thursday (Apr. 3).
