Website Offers Revenge For Traffic Tickets

CULVER CITY, Calif. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Speeders are getting the chance to tell off ticket-giving cops. is a website where people who have been stopped by a police officer can rate their experience with their boy in blue, on a scale of one to five stars, taking into account fairness, professionalism, and satisfaction.

Co-founder Rebecca Costell says the site is a place for citizens to track how well their local police service is being provided, given that it’s supported by tax payers.

And although some police departments have chosen not to be rated, leading Costell to wonder what they have to hide, many officers applaud the website for keeping them in check.

Costell says, “We had an officer ask us for business cards to hand out to people after giving them a ticket so they could rate him. But usually, it’s not those officers that we have to worry about.”
