Dog Cones Keep Humans Focused

LONDON (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – A British artist has come up with a canine-like cure for office slackers.

Simone Brewster has created the Office Collar, a white leather headpiece that hovers over the face and blocks the peripheral vision, forcing slacker office workers to remain focused on their work duties.

Though Brewster sees the joke in the collar’s resemblance to the cones dogs use after being fixed, she’s not sure they belong in the workplace.

She says, “I don’t claim it should be used in offices. I didn’t want to come up with a new dictatorship- like regime for offices. I can’t say bosses should use it. The workers wouldn’t like it, even though it does work.”

Though the office collars probably won’t appear in your office anytime soon, they may show up at a nightclub.

Brewster says, “When I showed them in Milan, people were partying and dancing in them, and a few went missing. I’m sure people are wearing them at clubs, though they might end up walking into a wall.”
