In her new book, You Know You Love It: Lessons in Sexual Mischief (Stewart, Tabori & Chang), professional psychotherapist and dominatrix Ilona Paris says a little spanking goes a long way in the bedroom, and encourages people to discover their kink.
She says, Its important to start slowly with something thats not as threatening, like being blinded, tied-up, or spanked. Spanking is always an easy one to start with and encourages you to explore.
But when it comes to phone sex, Paris urges people to be careful what they say.
She says, Its good to lower your voice and talk slower, but what you say depends on what you and the other person are comfortable with. Usually children and animals are off- limits.
Most importantly, Paris wants everyone to know that its okay to get kinky.
She assures, Theres a big fear factor in enjoying ones juiciness, but I want to help people see that kink is fun and will enhance your sex life.
