Tracking System Trails Teens

ATLANTA (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – A new product is taking the worry out of watching your kid get behind the wheel.

Discrete Wireless is a GPS vehicle tracking system installed into the dashboard of a car that sends information on the car’s whereabouts directly back to the owner.

The tracking technology is meant for companies sending out service fleets, but has found a large clientele in worried parents wanting to keep tabs on their teens.

Company marketing director Shawn Millar says, “Parents get the peace of mind of knowing where their kids are. I would’ve hated it if my parents did it to me, but parents have the right to know how their cars are being used.”

But it’s not just parents trying to keep watch on their loved ones.

Millar says, “We get jilted wives and husbands trying to buy one after someone didn’t come home. But we try and talk them out of it. We also screen for stalkers.”
