Blondes Have More Fun, But Brunettes Bring Home The Bacon

STAMFORD, Conn. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Blondes may have more fun, but in the business world, brunettes have a hair up on the competition.

That’s the dark truth from a new survey by hair color giants Clairol, who combed through thousands of responses to determine how hair color is linked to personality, and discovered that 67 percent of women say that if they had to hire an employee, they would choose a brunette.

Other colorful results include...

  • 67 percent of women believe brunette is the best color for making a good impression on a job interview, with blondes getting 12 percent of the votes, and redheads trailing with only 3 percent.

  • More than 75 percent of women believe brunettes are the most serious, and 56 percent say dark-haired divas exude more confidence than ladies with lighter locks.

  • 77 percent of women find brunette to be the most trustworthy hair color.

But despite the belief in bold brunettes, the majority of women said that if they could change their hair color for a day, they’d choose red.
