Sadie Hawkins Day Has Women Chasing Their Men

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – If there’s one day when women can stalk, chase, and catch their man, Sadie Hawkins Day (Nov. 15) is it.

The holiday commemorates the tradition of ugly, desperate women chasing the men of their desires around town, and trying to catch them so they can marry them.

Typically, as a joke on the holiday, towns set up a course for men to be chased by their women with the finish line being the wedding chapel, but according to holiday expert Bob Matthews, it’s fairly rare that the guys get caught.

Matthews explains, “Men usually get a head start and don’t slow down until they’re safe, so unless the couple’s been dating already and the man wants to get caught, I don’t think anyone’s going to get married.”

Still, Matthews encourages women to give it a shot, and do their best to bag their beau, adding, “Stretching will definitely help!”
