Home Is Where The Bathroom Is

CONSHOHOCKEN, Penn. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Home may be where the heart is, but for many Americans, it’s just a place to order take-out, poo, and pass out.

That’s the news from a new IKEA/Market Tools survey, which says that people spend 16-30 minutes in the bathroom every day, with only 5 percent spending as much time cooking in the kitchen.

Other domestic details include...

  • 38 percent of people spend only 11-20 minutes in the kitchen each day.

  • More than 10 percent of men eat meals over the kitchen sink.

  • 26 percent of people confess to ordering take-out food two or three times a week.

  • Home sweet home? Nearly 46 percent of people spend more time at work than at home.

But people aren’t barricading themselves in the bathroom – even though they neglect their kitchens and treasure their toilets and take-out, 94 percent of people still say home is the most important place in the world!
