City Banks On Love Fest

SAN FRANCISCO (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – San Francisco is getting ready to spread the love – and loud music – when one partying parade rolls into town.

The 4th Annual San Francisco LoveFest will be bumping September 29, when close to 70,000 people dance to the best beats from dance DJs like Crystal Method and Sasha, and show their love for their free-spirited city.

As LoveFest Board President Joshua Smith says, “It’s a colorful menagerie of people of all shapes, colors, sizes, and sexual interests. It’s a mix between a gay pride parade and Burning Man.”

And while you won’t hear any marching music, you will see some fantastic floats, and crazy costumes, including revelers in purple leotards and dizzying dancers wearing giraffe heads.

Smith says, “Everyone goes crazy. There are no participants, everyone is a part of it.”

And while Smith is carefree about planning the party parade, luckily, his nine-to-five in the banking industry keeps his finances from floating away.

He says, “A lot of us involved in not-for-profit events actually hold down real paying jobs!”
