Nearly 100 vessels have spilled their milk and are ready to sail the waters in Seattle tomorrow (July 7), for the 36th Annual Seafair Milk Carton Derby.
Event Organizer Dan Wartelle says it takes 100 regular milk cartons for every 50 pounds of weight the boats hold, but one vessel in particular is seaworthy for the lactose intolerant.
Wartelle says, We do have one entry thats called Soy Worms. Their boat is made out of soy milk cartons.
And though milk does a body good, you wont find any at the race.
As he puts it, Well have ice cream, but we wont have milk. We will have cows though, at the petting zoo.
