Thats the special delivery from Rob Reedy of Chrome, a San Francisco company whose new shoe, the Milo, is a good fit for more than just hardcore bikers on the citys steep slopes.
Reedy describes the Milo, which rode onto shelves this past Wednesday (June 27) as an urban casual riding shoe, and he says its for bikers who want to get off the bike and go to the bar or a party and be comfortable and feel good.
Although the shoe was tested at last months North American Cycle Courier Championships, Reedy says he anticipates the shoe stepping into fashion with urban hipsters and others who dont spin their wheels as fast.
Reedy says, If people see that it works for the hardcore commuter, theyll realize itll work for their four- block walk.
