Electronica Music Fest Urges Everyone To Chill Out

BROOKLYN, N.Y. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – A musician in New York is hoping to “tripnotize” folks during an electronica concert this Saturday (June 2).

Artist Michael Nova is hosting “Tripnotica” – a downtempo, chill, tripped-out music show in Brooklyn – as part of a monthly concert series aimed at introducing the sounds of electronica to the masses.

Nova, who is part of the electronica band X:THC, started putting the concerts together last year and says they’re a great way to showcase indie bands and promote music in the style of Bjork and Massive Attack.

Like his other monthly fests, Nova expects more than 300 music lovers to attend Tripnotica this weekend and invites everyone over the age of 21 to join in on the trippy fun.

Says Nova: “There’s no dress code and no discrimination at the door. We have one of the most diverse concert crowds ever, so everyone can fit right in. We have people from Africa, Europe, Asia, and America all in one spot, so there’s definitely an international vibe at the event.”
