Anglers Cast Some Fishy Finds

HOUSTON (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – A fishing trip isn’t always a guaranteed hook, line, and sinker.

According to a survey by Pennzoil Marine, American fishermen don’t always catch the big one. In fact, 39 percent of anglers reel in some curious catches instead.

Some of the more fishy finds include false teeth, chairs, shopping carts, refrigerator doors, musical drums, and lawn mowers. But more common surprises caught across the waters include items like sunglasses, boots, tires, shirts, and long underwear.

And if you don’t catch any fishies, it could be because other critters are taking the bait instead.

According to the poll, animals that may be striking while the bait is hot include frogs, alligators, beavers, peacocks, eels, owls and bobcats.
