Americans Take Snack Attacks Seriously

CHICAGO (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – If you’ve ever had the urge for a midnight snack, you’re not alone.

According to a survey by Quaker Rice Snacks, 98 percent of Americans can’t resist the urge to nosh, and will go to great lengths to soothe their snack attacks.

  • For example, 52 percent of adults say they’ve made a special trip somewhere for a specific snack, while 23 percent have gone so far as to eat a snack off the floor.

  • 81 percent of snackers say a goodie that will leave them satisfied is an important characteristic in a perfect snack.

  • 28 percent of folks scream for ice cream and 29 percent prefer chocolate chip cookies, but say eating the tasty treats leaves them feeling guilty afterwards.

Quaker hopes to help Americans and their desire for snacking by offering Quaker Mini Delights rice cakes as a delicious snacking choice.
