Don’t Expect Any Dog Food At Andy Williams New Restaurant

BRANSON, Mo. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Andy Williams promises the food at his new Branson, Missouri, restaurant hasn’t gone to the dogs – even though he loves dog food.

The “Moon River” singer recently opened the Moon River Grill and says dog food won’t be on the menu – even though it’s all he ate as a starving artist in the 1950s.

He explains; “It was that gravy kind. It smelled great at the time and didn’t taste too bad, but I don’t think I would have tried it if it was that dry food they have now.”

Although he admits the canned canine chow wasn’t as bad as he thought, his diners can expect home-style meals like chicken pot pie, catfish, and spaghetti and meatballs and will have their meals served at a table – not on the floor.

Says Williams: “It’s my mom’s recipes and they’re just wonderful – top quality. I’ve definitely come a long way since my dog food days!”
