The couple says they didn’t realize the baby – who was only 3.5 pounds – was in any danger until minutes before he died.

Jeanne Wolf’s Hollywood: Celebrity Advance Items From

HOLLYWOOD (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Tobey Maguire gets to show off his dance moves in Spider-Man 3 and says he thought about calling up John Travolta for pointers. He tells columnist Jeanne Wolf, “I thought about calling John Travolta for advice. But at the end of the day, I thought John was a little too cool. Peter is still a nerd who thinks he’s cool, but he’s not like Travolta cool.”

HOLLYWOOD – Kirsten Dunst enjoys playing Mary Jane in Spider-Man 3, but she doesn’t like all the stunts that come along with the job. She tells Jeanne Wolf: “The wire work, all the flying and action stuff, is not my favorite aspect of making these films, but it’s part of it. Actually I had to do less in this one, so that saved me a little bit. I did have some memorable up and down moments in a taxicab suspended in the air which was bouncing like a roller coaster ride. It was a very nauseating day.”

HOLLYWOOD – James Franco plays the Green Goblin’s son on Spider-Man 3 and when he wasn’t learning death-defying stunts he was learning how to make a proper omelet. He tells Jeanne Wolf that he was forced to go to cooking school to learn how to make an omelet for a scene he has with Kirsten Dunst’s character – even though he already knew how to make the breakfast food. Says Franco: “I played a chef in a Robert Altman movie called The Company, and told them I already knew how to make an omelet. But they wanted me to go and practice flipping one; although I don’t know who really flips omelets.” HOLLYWOOD – Spider-Man 3’s James Franco may have several blockbusters under his belt, but that doesn’t mean he’s going though a mid-20s crisis. He tells Jeanne Wolf: “Last year I was 28 and I had a weird period where I was a little down. A lot of people I’ve talked to have had the same experience at 28. So I went back to school at UCLA, where I had been a creative writing major. It was great. I’m doing an honors thesis and I’m writing a novel which I’ll finish next year. It’s about a guy I knew who was a troublemaker growing up, and it turned out that his real problem was undiagnosed schizophrenia.”

HOLLYWOOD – Bryce Dallas Howard plays blonde bombshell Gwen Stacy in Spider-Man 3 and she admits the role is quite different from the ones she normally gets. She tells Jeanne Wolf: “Usually I’m kind of scruffy and running around screaming or depressed or something. So it was great to look great, with the blonde hair and the makeup and the gorgeous dresses. I just didn’t want to overdo and come on like some man-stealing tart, because in the comic book Gwen is not like that at all.”

HOLLYWOOD – Drew Barrymore falls in love with a poker player in her latest movie Lucky You, but in real life the actress has a more realistic look on love. She tells Jeanne Wolf: “Relationships take an incredible amount of work, but the thing I find most fundamental is: Do you feel like a good person when you’re with someone or a bad person? Are you like, ‘I feel self-conscious and weird and I’m walking on eggshells and my butterflies are actually making me nauseous? Or do you feel like you kind of glow and have that vibe that you are sexy? If you have the glow, that’s a good indication things are going positively.”

HOLLYWOOD – Drew Barrymore has her poker face on in the new movie Lucky You, but in real life she’s an open book. She tells Jeanne Wolf: “Anyone who thinks I’m cool is fooling themselves. I love being a geek. There’s something liberating about not pretending, it makes me feel a lot freer.”
