“Adventure Girl” Has Cosmic Ticket To Ride

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – If you play your cards right as a travel writer, you can go anywhere – even outer space.

Stefanie Michaels, who calls herself “Adventure Girl,” has her ticket booked for an inaugural zero-gravity flight on Monday (Apr. 23) that is blasting off from Las Vegas.

It’s an opportunity few people could pass up, but Michaels is taking it one step further. She hopes to set a world record for most somersaults in space.

As she puts it, “I’m crazy, and coming out of my skin just thinking about it.”

Michaels won’t be alone on her flight. She will be joined by lunar luminaries like John Cusack, Robin Leach, and Buzz Aldrin, who is a familiar face to Michaels.

That’s because Aldrin has shared cooking recipes with her, and once drew her a picture of a rocket for charity.
