‘Harry Potter’ Fans Can Celebrate New Book With Tour

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – A trip to Great Britain can be a magical vacation – especially when Harry Potter is involved.

That’s because a Colorado-based tour company is offering an exclusive Harry Potter tour to fans of the magical series to celebrate the July 21 release of the final installment, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows (Scholastic).

Potter fans will have a choice between going to Edinburgh, Scotland, or London and spokeswoman Jeannie Barresi says both countries have something to offer every Potter fan.

For example, in Edinburgh, fans can have high tea at the Balmoral Hotel where author J.K. Rowling wrote some of the novel, or go on an “Owl Encounter” and see how the magical owls in the movie are trained.

In London, fans will have the chance to go on a Harry Potter film tour as well as receive a special Potter party guide with detailed instructions to all of the night’s festivities following the book’s release.

Barresi says both tours will feature a banquet fit for any wizard as well as special reading rooms, where fans can spend the rest of their trip reading the novel cover to cover.
