Men Refuse To Ask For Directions – About Cleaning

WASHINGTON, D.C. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Everyone knows that women are more likely to ask for directions while driving, but that goes for cleaning as well.

According to a new survey by the Soap And Detergent Association, 76 percent of women will happily ask for advice on cleaning, compared to 65 percent of men.

Considering that, maybe it’s not surprising that only 31 percent of men have been embarrassed by how dirty their home was, while 46 percent of women have been ashamed by household dirt and grime.

Other dirt cleaned up from the poll....

  • 71 percent of women engage in spring cleaning, compared to 58 percent of men.

  • 23 percent say cleaning the kitchen is the most rewarding chore, while cleaning the garage or basement is the least fun.

  • Finally, 37 percent of spring cleaners make the kitchen their top priority while 19 percent focus their attention on the living room.
