‘Survivor’ Cast-Off Liliana Wishes She Hadn’t Been ‘Rich’

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Living in luxury is great for some people, but it may have cost Survivor cast-off Liliana Gomez a chance at $1 million.

Gomez was voted off the Moto tribe this past Thursday (Mar. 1) and admits the fact that the group lived in relative luxury contributed to her elimination.

In her words, “If the situation had been normal, I would have done better, because I was hunting and fishing and climbing trees with the guys. But, as it was, I wasn’t super needed.”

For that reason, Gomez regrets not being able convince the other members to take a vow of “poverty” in exchange for immunity.

Now that she’s survived Survivor, Gomez has another challenge on her mind: Furthering her career as a singer of latin R&B, but she admits that, unlike other Survivor castaways, she has no delusions of stardom.
