In fact, Stewart who played Jodie Fosters daughter in The Panic Room claims she actually saw a ghost when she was filming The Messengers.
Or so she thinks.
Stewart says that halfway through filming the ghostly flick, she felt a presence in her hotel room one night which totally freaked her out.
Says Stewart: I was sleeping and I opened my eyes and instantly saw a womans image fill my entire visual frame. It was terrifying and I screamed so loud the hotel staff called my room to see if I was okay.
Stewart says the creepy apparition couldve been attributed to her long hours working on the film and her imagination playing tricks on her, but she still insists the experience felt real.
She adds that after her vision, she was a little more on edge during filming than usual.
The Messengers haunts theaters nationwide on Friday (Feb. 2).
