France Has Highest Quality Of Life; Iraq Doesn’t

BALTIMORE (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – If you need another reason to hate the French, try this: The country has the world’s highest quality of life.

That’s according to a study by International Living magazine, which says France earns the coveted honor for the second year in a row.

The country suffers from high taxes and a high cost of living, but earns the top spot because of its climate, countryside and health care.

France beat out Australia, Netherlands and New Zealand for the top spot, while the United States ranks in at No. 5, in part because it is not considered as “free” as the top four countries.

But some places aren’t so hot, such as Iraq, which ranks at 195 out of 195 countries, narrowly beating out Somalia, Yemen and Sudan.
