Deftones Drummer Too Hung Over For Sightseeing

PORTLAND, Ore. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Horrible hangovers are keeping one drummer from seeing the sights of America.

Deftones drummer Abe Cunningham admits he feels guilty for not leaving his hotel room and seeing the highlights of cities like Portland, Oregon, and Seattle, Washington, while on tour.

However, he says his hangovers are to blame.

Says Cunningham: “I know it’s a bulls■■■ reason but my head really hurts.”

This isn’t the first time Cunningham has been stuck in bed nursing his head. As he puts it, “There’s been a lot of hangovers in our 18 years as a band.”

He says a mix of marijuana and vodka are the culprits behind his massive migraine.

As he puts it, “I don’t smoke weed very often but when I do and I mix it with alcohol – I’m out.”

The Deftones are currently on tour promoting their new CD, Saturday Night Wrist.
